What if the race is sold out? What are my options?
Many times we will open same day race registrations based on the show rate of runners. This will be communicated via our Facebook Event Page. Another option is to sign up for the Virtual Option. If you register by March 10, 2018 you will be guaranteed a medal and t-shirt. Registration for the Virtual Run after this date may not guarantee swag.
Are strollers allowed on the course?
Due to the terrain of the course strollers are not allowed on the course with the runners for safety purposes.
Are walkers allowed to participate?
Yes but please know there are cut off times for each race. Walkers will need to stay to the right of the course to allow runners to safely pass. We ask that you start at the back of the corral for safety purposes. The 5k must be completed in one hour and the 10 miler must be completed in 2.5 hours.
What happens if I am unable to attend? Do you offer a refund or deferment?
The race is non-refundable and there are no options to defer to the next year. New this year if you want to transfer to another runner the fee is $10.00 and you must do so by 5/15/18.
Are dogs allowed to run on the course?
Due to insurance regulations only service dogs will be permitted at the event.
Are there any parking fees?
All runners will be given a free parking pass at packet pick up. All others there is a $5.00 parking fee that will be due at the 64th street station when you pull in.
Is there any same day packet pick-up?
There will only be no same day packet pick up unless you are a registered out of state runner. There will be two different dates, times, and locations to make it as convenient as possible. New this year you can sign up to allow someone else to pick up your packet. Any questions please email the race director Jeanne Catalano at email@example.com.
